The People's Emergency Briefing
Bournemouth Pavilion Ballroom
How prepared is our community for the challenges ahead?
Dorset Chamber, Lush, Dorset Wildlife Trust, BCP Council and Transition Town Poole would like to invite you to a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing in Bournemouth Pavilion's Ballroom on Tuesday 20 October, sponsored by Lush.
The People's Emergency Briefing is a new film bringing together leading UK experts to explain, as clearly as possible, what the latest science says about the climate and nature crisis, how it is already affecting our lives, and what can still be done. Rather than headlines or politics, the film offers a concise, evidence-based overview from experts across areas including climate, food, health, economics, national security and extreme weather.
This event brings together residents, community groups and local organisations to watch the People’s Emergency Briefing - a powerful short film outlining the risks climate change poses to our health, infrastructure and daily lives.
After the screening, we’ll host an open discussion on what this means for our area and how we can work together to build a more resilient and prepared community.
This film is suitable for those over 16 only.
