Bournemouth-born performers Mark and James are set to return to their hometown stage when The Ultimate Boyband Party Show arrives at Bournemouth Pavilion this Febraury.

Boybands are officially back – ALRIGHT! – and they’re bigger, bolder, and more irresistible than ever. After two sell-out UK tours and rave reviews from audiences across the country, The Ultimate Boyband Party Show has cemented its reputation as one of the most feel-good, high-energy pop celebrations touring the UK today.

Now, with Bournemouth firmly on the tour map, Mark and James are thrilled to be performing in front of a home crowd.

Mark, who trained at ArtsEd and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre in 2016, grew up in Bournemouth surrounded by music, theatre and the seaside. Nearly a decade into his professional career, he has performed across major UK venues, international tours and cruise productions, alongside maintaining his love of live music as a member of several bands, including his London-based indie pop quartet Out At Sea. His theatre credits span productions from 9 to 5: The Musical and Robin Hood to the Paw Patrol Arena Tour and The Ultimate Boyband Party Show UK tour.

Joining him is fellow Bournemouth native James, who trained at Cambridge Performing Arts. James brings a wealth of West End, touring and international experience to the production, with credits including Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You, West Side Story, Fame and Hair. Most recently, he returned to Jersey Boys in the lead role of Frankie Valli onboard the Norwegian Bliss, making his return to a hometown stage all the more special.

The show is a full-throttle celebration of the golden era of boy bands, delivering slick choreography, pitch-perfect harmonies, and all the swoon-worthy charisma that defined pop music in the 1990s and 2000s. Fans can expect wall-to-wall hits from legendary groups including Take That, Boyzone, Westlife, NSYNC, Blue, FIVE, Backstreet Boys – plus plenty more iconic favourites.
