Bournemouth Pavilion will host the opening night of one of the most anticipated magic and comedy events of 2026 when legendary magician Penn Jillette and Las Vegas star Piff The Magic Dragon bring their brand-new live show, Piff & Pop's Magic Shoppe, to the venue on Thursday 10 September 2026.

The Bournemouth date launches a nine-date UK tour and marks a series of major firsts. It will be Penn Jillette's first UK tour without his long-time performing partner Teller, while London-born Piff The Magic Dragon returns to UK stages for the first time in more than a decade.

Combining world-class magic, comedy and unforgettable showmanship, Piff & Pop's Magic Shoppe brings together two of Las Vegas' most celebrated performers for the first time in the UK.

The show is split into two distinct acts. The first half features solo performances from both "Pop" (Penn Jillette) and Piff The Magic Dragon, alongside the scene-stealing Mr Piffles – the world's only magic-performing Chihuahua. Audiences can expect Penn's trademark storytelling, wit and astonishing sleight of hand alongside Piff's unique blend of deadpan comedy and inventive illusions.

In the second half, the pair join forces for a spectacular double act, combining their very different styles into an unpredictable and larger-than-life magical finale.

Penn Jillette has spent decades redefining modern magic as one half of the internationally acclaimed duo Penn & Teller. The pair have headlined in Las Vegas since 2001, earning a place in entertainment history with the longest-running magic residency on the Las Vegas Strip. Their unique combination of comedy, intellect and illusion has won audiences around the world and recently earned them induction into The Magic Circle.

Piff The Magic Dragon, described as "the greatest performing dragon of all time", rose to international fame following his breakout appearance on America's Got Talent. Since 2015, he has headlined his own residency at Flamingo Las Vegas, becoming one of the city's most beloved performers thanks to his offbeat humour, inventive magic and appearances alongside his canine co-star, Mr Piffles.

Opening the UK tour at Bournemouth Pavilion, Piff & Pop's Magic Shoppe promises an unforgettable evening packed with astonishing magic, laugh-out-loud comedy and plenty of surprises along the way.
