Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One) comedian, Sean Collins, is set to headline LOL Comedy Club this Friday 16 May at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. He will be joined by Sean Percival, Joshua Robertson and Jake Steers (MC).

Canadian Sean Collins has 25 years of experience in stand-up comedy, with initial success leading to ‘Best Male Stand Up’ nominations at the Canadian Comedy Awards, a Just For Laughs Gala set in Montreal and his own hour-long special on Canadian television.

Since residing in the UK, Sean quickly established himself as a strong performer. His appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One) proved a portentous gig for Sean, allowing him to perform at The Real Variety Showcase for Jeremy Lee Associates, the UK’s biggest specialist agency for after-dinner speakers, awards hosts and cabaret for corporate, industry and public sector events. For his performance that night, he was awarded the "Expert Choice" as he "struck the most corporate note of the evening" (The Stage 2013). Jeremy Lee Associates considered him the ‘stand out act’

A festival favourite, he has performed at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading Festivals, and as a well-established headliner, he performs at all major comedy clubs around the UK as well as being a regular host for the Jongleurs comedy clubs. radio credits – comedy In demand as a script writer, Sean works regularly with the likes of Johnny Vaughan for the Capital Radio group.
He spent two years writing and performing on Capital FM’s drive time radio show in Birmingham and for Heart FM in Birmingham, and provided the voice for “Black Country Bob” on both those shows fronted by Talk Radio’s host and impressionist Ian Danter.

Joshua Robertson is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor who had a severe quad bike crash when he was 11 years old. He spent 4 months in a coma and now lives with a physical disability. He now mines this adversity for laughs!
Started stand-up comedy at 19, he’s now performed around the world and across the UK , including shows at the Brighton Fringe, Camden Fringe and the Adelaide Fringe Festival and tours supporting Tom Stade and Shappi Khorsandi.
Joshua featured in the BBC Three series, Amazing Humans, and the All4 series, Jokes Only Disabled People Can Tell. DAD JOKE, a comedy short film which Joshua co-wrote with David Abramsky and stars in, was commissioned by the BFI NETWORK and Film London. It premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.

Some people just have all round likability factor, and Jake Steers is certainly one of them with charisma in spades. An easy conversational style makes audiences warm to himimmediately, and his one off persona and off-the-cuff style has the audience in stitches.
