LOL Comedy Club returns to the Pavilion Ballroom this October with another great line-up of comedians! Join us on Friday 3 October 2025 for a fantastic night of comedy from Andrew Bird, Comedy duo Plastic Jeezus, Victoria Garofalides and Damion Larkin (MC).

Andrew Bird hails from Northamptonshire and moved to London to pursue a career in standup. He worked in a bar where he practised making the regulars laugh before his career in live comedy took off.
Since then, Andrew has become a top headline act up and down the UK as well as performing around the world from Dublin to Doha. He has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, and been the warm-up artist for TV shows including Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Room 101 and Pointless. Andrew is also a writer in demand, having written for series such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week.
Andrew’s 2011 and 2012 Edinburgh shows were sold out and received glowing reviews across the board.

Plastic Jeezus are creating a storm on the UK circuit after winning at the Musical Comedy Awards 2021 and ‘Union Jack’s Circuit Breakers’ at Leicester Comedy Festival 2022. Simon and Aaron are – Plastic Jeezus – a deadpan, ukulele-totin’, musical comedy duo and their hilarious and often surreal original songs, all delivered in their own unique, straight-faced way with laughs aplenty. They are the epitome of a rising star, and by happy coincidence are born and bred here in Bournemouth!

Victoria Garofalides - half Essex, half Greek, one hundred per cent combustible - is a stand-up comedian, solo mum, and red-carpet journalist turned comedic force. With razor wit, a biting charm, and a refreshingly blunt approach to life, she mines material from the everyday parenting blunders, life’s awkward moments, and her own questionable decision-making with candid humour that resonates.
As one comedy guru said, “She’s a force of nature who says the most outrageous things and the audience loves her for it".

Damion Larkin will often improvise his entire set to hilarious effect. There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more.
