Bournemouth Pavilion’s Terrace Bistro has been recognised with a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2026, with the popular venue being placed among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide based on reviews and ratings from millions of Tripadvisor travellers

The annual award celebrates hospitality businesses that consistently deliver great experiences and receive positive feedback from customers on Tripadvisor throughout the year.

This recognition follows another successful summer season for The Terrace Bistro and its neighbouring outdoor hospitality space, the South Terrace, which welcomed tens of thousands of customers throughout the warmer months.

Overlooking Bournemouth Gardens just moments from the seafront, The Terrace Bistro has become a popular destination for local residents, visitors, Bournemouth Pavilion theatre audiences, and families looking to enjoy food and drink in the heart of the town centre.

The venue offers a seasonal menu featuring light bites, sandwiches, burgers, fresh salads, fish and chips, children’s meals, and refreshments, with indoor and outdoor seating providing views across the gardens.

The Terrace Bistro is operated by registered charity and social enterprise BH Live. Surplus generated through the charity’s hospitality operations, including the Terrace Bistro, is reinvested to support BH Live’s charitable mission to improve health and wellbeing across Dorset and Hampshire.

This means every ice cream, sandwich, or cup of coffee purchased helps make a positive difference in local communities, supporting investment in BH Live’s services, facilities, and opportunities that encourage people of all ages to lead healthier, more positive, and more active lives.

Visitors still have the opportunity to enjoy the award-winning venue this season. The Terrace Bistro will remain open during Bournemouth’s Arts by the Sea Festival from Friday 25 September to Saturday 26 September, providing a welcoming spot for festivalgoers to enjoy lunch, refreshments, or a break between activities in the heart of the town centre.

Following its final day of trading on Sunday 27 September, The Terrace Bistro will temporarily close for the season before reopening in spring 2027. The venue serves food and refreshments from 12pm daily, with a Challenge 25 policy in place for alcohol purchases, which must be consumed on the premises.

Guests are encouraged to make the most of the remaining days of the season and experience the award-winning food, service, and gardenside setting that have helped earn the Bistro a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2026.
