LOL Comedy Club returns to the Pavilion Ballroom this December with another great line-up of comedians! Join us on Saturday 20 December 2025 for a fantastic night of comedy from Ben Norris, Alister Williams, Aiden Lonergan and Damion Larkin (MC).
As well as being a big name on the international comedy circuit, you may have seen Ben Norris on your screens on programmes such as Mock The Week (BBC 2), Never Mind The Buzcocks (BBC 2), They Think It’s All Over (BBC 1) and The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy). A highly experienced and hugely well-respected stand-up, he is the only touring comedian to be the father of triplets and also happens to be the cousin of actor Martin Freeman (The Office, Sherlock, and The Hobbit)!
He’s been performing brilliant comedy since 1993 and has developed an incredibly relaxed stage persona with an innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material. As a result, he’s a regular headliner on the UK comedy circuit and has performed around the world in Prague, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Singapore, Manilla, Bangkok, Tokyo and the Isle of Wight.
He explores such topics as fatherhood, lad culture and cockneys with a genuine sense of angry joy, taking particular delight in some brilliantly crafted wordplay. It’s fair to say that he’s a bit of a legend in the comedy industry, headlining his bulletproof act all over the world for over 30 years.

Alistair Williams describes his comedy style as ‘the ramblings of a moron’. He must be doing something right, though, as he is highly regarded as one of the most exciting acts on the UK comedy circuit.
He is rising through the ranks at a rate of knots, excelling in any situation he is put in. Alistair is already on his way to the top after winning the Piccadilly Comedy Club’s New Comedian of the Year 2014 award and reaching the finals of prestigious competitions (Amused Moose
Laugh Off, Leicester Square, New Act and Laughing Horse New Act. Alistair is one of those rare commodities in the comedy world with his consistent ability to produce new material of the highest standard. Combining high energy with a super charismatic stage presence, his set is packed with rip-roaring gags from start to finish.

Aiden Lonergan has had a passion for writing comedy from a very young age. He decided fairly early on that he wanted to make a career out of making people laugh and so no surprise that he does now for a living. A LGBTQ+ comedian with observational humour ranging from growing up in rural, working-class England to the ridiculousness of existence itself. Chatty, catty and charming, you can’t help but love him. A hit with all kinds of audiences and highly relatable and likeable throughout. Highly recommended.

Damion Larkin will often improvise his entire set to hilarious effect. There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more.
This lineup comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Ballroom on Saturday 20 December 2025. Click here to book your tickets.
All line-ups are subject to change, but don’t worry, we’ll only replace them with someone just as funny!
