The countdown is on and there’s less that six months to go until Bournemouth Pavilion is filled with family friendly laughter, magic, and panto mayhem!

With performances running from Saturday 5 December 2026 until Sunday 3 January 2027, step into a magical world at Bournemouth Pavilion, where adventure, laughter and festive sparkle come together in one unforgettable family pantomime.

Fresh from one of Coronation Street’s biggest and most talked-about storylines, James Cartwright stars as the wicked Abanazar. Known to millions as Theo Silverton, James is set to cast his spell over Bournemouth as one of panto’s most deliciously dastardly villains, so get your biggest ‘boos!’ ready.

He joins Jamie Steen as the gloriously outrageous Widow Twankey, and Bournemouth favourite Noel Brodie, returning for his incredible 12th year as the hilarious Wishee Washee.

Expect spectacular scenery, breathtaking lighting, fabulous costumes, high-energy choreography and all the sparkle of a festive theatre experience made for the whole family. From the first burst of music to the final wave goodbye, Aladdin will sweep you away on a magic carpet ride packed with laughter, surprises, songs, silliness and heart.

Audiences are already showing huge excitement for this year’s show, with thousands of tickets sold, including concessions.

This year’s booking highlights include:

  • Performances from Saturday 5 December 2026 – Sunday 3 January 2027
  • Accessible captioned performance on Monday 21 December 2026 – open to all
  • A relaxed performance on Wednesday 30 December 2026, open to everyone and great for those who prefer a gentler panto experience.
  • Ice creams for school groups of 50+ plus a limited number of funded tickets for pupils on low income, thanks to the generosity of previous panto audiences (T&Cs apply).
  • Group rates available (6+, 20+, 50+) (T&Cs apply).
  • School and young people’s concessions for under 16s on selected performances (T&Cs apply) – Saturday 5 December (7pm), Sunday 6 December (3pm), Tuesday 8 December (10:30am), Wednesday 9 December (10:30am), Sunday 13 December (3pm), Monday 14 December (10:30am), Tuesday 15 December (10:30am), and Wednesday 16 December 2025.
