Bournemouth Pavilion and UK Productions are delighted to announce that acclaimed musical theatre performer Bree Smith will star as the Spirit of the Ring in this year's spectacular festive pantomime, Aladdin.

Running from Saturday 5 December 2026 until Sunday 3 January 2027, Aladdin promises audiences a magical carpet ride filled with laughter, dazzling costumes, spectacular special effects, sensational musical numbers and plenty of family fun.

A graduate of the prestigious Arts Educational School, Bree brings an impressive wealth of stage experience to the production. She most recently appeared as Alternate Tina Turner in Tina: The Musical on its UK and Ireland tour and has won acclaim for her performances in major productions including Come From Away, Titanic The Musical, The Color Purple, The Wiz, West Side Story, The Book of Mormon and Evita.

No stranger to pantomime, Bree has previously enchanted audiences as Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at The Orchard Theatre, and as Good Fairy in Mother Goose at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre.

As the magical Spirit of the Ring, Bree will help guide Aladdin on his extraordinary adventure, bringing her powerful vocals, charisma and stage presence to one of the show's most beloved characters.

In addition to her extensive performing career, Bree has also worked behind the scenes as a director and choreographer, including serving as Director and Co-Choreographer of The Little Mermaid at The Beck Theatre and Assistant Director and Movement Director for the concert production of Kinky Boots at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Bree joins the previously announced cast of Coronation Street villain James Cartwright as the wicked Abanazar; Bournemouth favourite Noel Brodie as Wishee Washee, back for his twelfth year; panto legend Jamie Steen starring as the wonderfully outrageous Widow Twankey; Britain’s Got Talent semi finalist Kristel Herrera as Princess Jasmine, ready to wow Bournemouth audiences with her stunning voice and Dante Norde making his professional theatre debut as Aladdin.
